Anti-Ragging Cell

Objectives

• To make students aware about the menace of ragging.
• To maintain healthy interpersonal relationships among students.
• To provide knowledge about Anti-Ragging provisions, rules and punishments.

Policy

The College ensures strict compliance with the Prevention of Ragging in any form. It aims to maintain a healthy and congenial academic environment free from the menace of ragging.

Preventive Measures

• All students and their parents/guardians are required to submit an Anti-Ragging undertaking at the time of admission.
• Students are informed about UGC guidelines on Anti-Ragging at the beginning of the academic session.
• Ragging in the College campus is strictly prohibited.

Disciplinary Action

Any student found indulging in ragging is liable to be punished appropriately. Punishment may include:

• Expulsion from the College
• Suspension from classes for a limited period
• Imposition of fine with public apology

All students are advised to strictly follow the rules to ensure a ragging-free campus.
