National Legal Services Day 2024

Career College of Law celebrated National Legal Services Day with great
enthusiasm and learning on 9 th November 2024.

The event, aimed Legal Services Day is observed on 9th November 2024 ,  this day as an
important occasion to give legal relief to the weaker sections of society. The day holds historical
importance as it marks the anniversary of enacting the Legal Services Authorities Act in 1995.
The law provides protection and free legal services to vulnerable and excluded communities. The
day also aims to spread legal awareness and legal services in ensuring access to justice for all,
was graced by two distinguished
speakers: Abhimanyu Sharma, Assistant Professor and PK Gupta Sir.

Abhimanyu Sharma spoke about the critical role legal professionals play in advocating for
justice, particularly for marginalized sections of society. He encouraged students to recognize the
impact they can have as future legal practitioners, especially in the field of legal services, where
their work could directly contribute to building a fair and just society.

PK Gupta Sir further enlightened the audience with his valuable insights. He emphasized the
significance of National Legal Services Day in highlighting the need for providing free legal aid
to those who cannot afford legal representation. He also discussed the various initiatives taken by
the government and legal organizations to make justice more accessible and equitable. The event
was coordinated by Aakansha Masih and Alankriti Harry, Assistant Professor. 

Outcome:
Increased Awareness on Legal Aid and Access to Justice:
The guest lectures and awareness campaigns successfully educated students, faculty, and the
local community about the vital role of legal services in ensuring equal access to justice for all.
The discussions around the functioning of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and
its outreach programs provided valuable insights into the mechanisms for legal aid, particularly
for marginalized and economically disadvantaged groups.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

NSS, Red Ribbon Club, and Bhopal Memorial Hospital Blood Bank.
Successful Blood Donation Camp was organized on 23rd November 2024 at Career College of
Law in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Ribbon Club, and the
Bhopal Memorial Hospital Blood Bank. The event aimed at raising awareness about the
importance of blood donation and contributed to saving many lives in the community.
Objective:
The primary goal of the camp was to encourage students and faculty members to donate blood
and highlight the critical need for blood donations in hospitals, especially during emergencies
and medical treatments.
Camp Overview:
ï‚· The event started at 10:00 with a brief introduction by the NSS Coordinator, highlighting
the significance of blood donation and the positive impact it can have on saving lives.
ï‚· Blood collection was facilitated by the professional medical team from the Bhopal
Memorial Hospital Blood Bank, ensuring all safety protocols were followed.
ï‚· The camp saw an impressive turnout of students, faculty, and staff, all eager to contribute
to this noble cause.

Key Highlights:
ï‚· Free Health Check-up: Before donating blood, participants underwent basic health
screenings, including a hemoglobin check, blood pressure measurement, and weight
assessment to ensure they were eligible to donate.
ï‚· Educational Awareness: Members of the Red Ribbon Club conducted sessions on the
importance of regular blood donation and how it can help save lives. They also discussed
the safety and ease of the donation process.
ï‚· Smooth Operations: The team from the Bhopal Memorial Hospital Blood Bank ensured
that the process was swift and safe, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
throughout the event.
Outcome:
ï‚· The camp collected 70 units of blood, which will be used to aid patients in need at the
Bhopal Memorial Hospital and other associated healthcare centers.
ï‚· The event was a resounding success, surpassing expectations in terms of participation and
community engagement.

Celebration of Constitution Day

The objective of the Constitution Day celebration was to honor the significance
of the Indian Constitution, promote understanding of its principles, and encourage its
principles to be incorporated into everyday life. The event aimed to educate students and the
community about the Constitution's Preamble, Directive Principles of State Policy, and
Fundamental Rights, fostering a deeper understanding of their importance in shaping Indian
society. It also aimed to inspire students, especially future advocates, to internalize the values
enshrined in the Constitution.
Outcome: The event successfully highlighted the importance of Constitution Day through
insightful speeches and discussions. Key outcomes included:
1. The keynote speech and student reflections provided valuable insights into the
Constitution, its core principles, and its relevance in modern India.
2. The Chief Guest, Shri Ashok Pandey, emphasized the importance of practicing the
Constitution’s values in daily life, encouraging participants to go beyond mere
celebrations and strive to live by its principles.
3. The vote of thanks by Shri Manish Rajoria motivated students to embody the values
of the Constitution in their professional and personal lives as they prepare to become
future advocates.
4. The ceremonial aspects of the event, such as the lighting of the lamp and the
traditional welcome of the guests, created a strong sense of community and respect for
the Constitution.
The event concluded with the National Anthem, reinforcing the collective spirit of patriotism
and national pride.
Brief Report:
Today the Constitution Day was celebrated under the joint aegis of Career College of Law
and Seva Bharti Alternative Dispute Resolution Center Bhopal.

The event was graced by Shri Ashok Pandey , Prant Sangh Chalak of Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh, as the Chief Guest; Shri Subhash Kala , the Keynote Speaker and Tax
Consultant; and Shri Shiv Mangal Singh, retired judge and President of Seva Bharti
Metropolitan and Provincial President of Seva Bharti Alternative Dispute Resolution Center,
as the Special Guest.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp and garlanding the photograph of Saraswati
Mata and Bharat Mata by the esteemed guests.
The guests were welcomed with a traditional ceremonial tilak and presented with saplings.
Shri Anil Kumar Dixit Principal Career College of Law gave the brief of the Program.The
keynote speaker provided insights into the Preamble, Directive Principles of State Policy, and
Fundamental Rights enshrined in the Constitution. 4 Students of B.A.LL.B 1st Year
including Nidhi Parmar, Palak Mishra, Diksha Kumari and Shruti Roy also shared their
thoughts on Constitution Day.
The Chief Guest Shri Ashok Pandey in his address emphasized that merely celebrating
Constitution Day is not enough; one must imbibe its principles in daily life.
Shri Manish Rajoria, Chairman Career Group of Institutions, in his vote of thanks
encouraged students to internalize the values of the Constitution and develop a personality
that fulfils their duties and responsibilities as future advocates. He extended his best wishes
for the students’ bright futures and congratulated everyone on Constitution Day.
The event concluded with the National Anthem.
