Student Satisfaction Research Unit (SSRU)

Objective

SSRU Cell helps the faculty members of the college to analyze their performance from students’ perspective to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

• Evaluate the performance of faculties.
• Find the satisfaction level of students.
• Guide the teachers so as to be most effective.
• Empower both teachers and students to improve Teaching and Learning.

Teaching–Learning Parameters

• Ability of the faculty to explain a topic.
• Coverage of syllabus by the faculty.
• Regularity & punctuality of the faculty.
• Communication skills of the faculty.
• Control over the class.

Policy

Feedback is a valuable tool to ensure the overall quality of the teaching-learning process. It promotes learning rather than only quantitative assessment.

The College established the Student Satisfaction Research Unit Cell in 2003. Each department follows subject-specific marking criteria framed as per the college’s generic criteria.

Procedure of SSRU

1. Notification is circulated for date, time and class strength.
2. Database is prepared by the cell members.
3. Students participate as per timetable.
4. Instructions are explained clearly.
5. Unique ID & password provided for anonymity.
6. Students login and submit feedback.
7. Confirmation message is displayed after submission.
