Student Survey (SSRU)

Objective

This programme enables opportunities to interact and learn from each other. SSRU Cell helps the faculty members of the college to analyze their performance from students’ perspective to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

• Evaluate the performance of faculties.
• Find the satisfaction level of students.
• Guide the teachers so as to be most effective.
• Empower both teachers and students to improve the quality of Teaching and Learning.

Teaching-Learning Parameters

• Ability of the faculty to explain a topic.
• Coverage of syllabus by the faculty.
• Regularity & Punctuality of the faculty.
• Communication skills of the faculty.
• Control over the class by the faculty.

Policy

Feedback is a valuable tool to ensure the overall quality of teaching-learning process in the institute. Feedback gives an insight, enables learning rather than quantitative measure.

College established SSRU Cell in 2003. Each faculty/department has subject-specific marking criteria framed as per college’s generic marking criteria.

Activity Procedure

1. Notification is circulated to obtain date, time, and class strength.
2. Cell member creates database in software for each class.
3. Head directs students to take part as per timetable.
4. Instructions explained by concerned cell members.
5. Unique ID and password provided for anonymity.
6. Students login to SSRU software and give feedback.
7. Faculty names and subjects displayed in software.
8. Students submit feedback and get success message.
9. Students logout after submission.
10. Software generates analysis report.
11. Final report discussed with Principal and concerned faculty for improvements.
